Book Review: Joe Hill's HORNS

The best and worst horror films of 2010, and what to look forward to in 2011.

Listen up, M. Night Shyamalan has something really important to tell you.

If you're as excited about the upcoming Fall TV season's I am... and that's not even sarcasm, you'll be giddy to know that Robert Englund will be appearing on the Halloween episode of "Chuck". He'll be playing a guest at Chuck's Halloween party and will be dressed as Freddy Krueger, but here's the twist... it's a slutty Freddy Krueger!

Word around campus is Universal has agreed to produce three films and a TV shows based on Stephen King's seven Dark Tower novels. None other then Ron Howard has signed on to direct the first film and TV series and if I knew how to read I'd be wetting myself with excitement right now.

And lastly today we have the first trailer for "Zombie Roadkill". If you couldn't guess by the title the film is about our furry little splattered roadside friends that come back to life and take revenge on some unsuspecting drivers. Looks like a hoot!

A new clip for the upcoming trapped in an elevator thriller "Devil" has found its way online. It's full of blood, horror and suspense. But you'll probably only pay attention to the last 2 seconds where you see down the girls shirt. You're so predictable.

Muscle cars and zombies in Vegas you say? I'm pretty sure the creators of the new Xbox 360 game "Blood Drive" are listening in on my drunken rants, but I couldn't be happier. The game sounds awesome.

We've got the first details on casting from the upcoming killer shark flick "Shark Night 3-D". Sinqua Walls, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore. The last guy is the doofy looking kid from "Avatar", I'm really drawing a blank on the rest.

Universal Studios had planned a nifty little series of horror movies based on the stories of M. Night Shyamalan, the first of which was to be titled "The Night Chronicles: Devil". With the rash of reviews coming in after Shyamalan's live action "Last Airbender" outing, the studio has decided to axe "The Night Chronicles" from the title.

If for some reason you were hoping to see Shannon Doherty return for the upcoming "Scream IV", I'm here to dash your hopes and reassure you that this is good news; Dimension Films has confirmed that Shannon and Rachel McAdams will not be appearing in the new feature. Too bad, so sad.

Atom.com is a little tired of this whole "Twilight" craze and their deconstruction of our beloved vampires and werewolves, so they've opened up a channel called simply; "Twilight: For Guys". Filled with shorts that feature more manly creatures and scantily clad cheerleaders,... at least a step in the right direction.
