hellraiser revelations

Horror Headlines: Wednesday October 6th, 2010

There's a new trailer for "Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night", the international sequel to the 2007 hit. The film revolves around an exchange student who accidentally brings back a demon to her house in Tokyo. Like bed bugs that will make you murder people.

Idris Elba, who I only remember as being the dick boss on "The Office" apparently would like a chance to play Blade in a franchise reboot. I wish I was rich so I could just say I'd like to do things and then they'd happen. I'd like a chance to live in a house made out of gum drops and strippers. Make it happen, Hollywood, I'm on a podcast!

Charlize Theron is reported to be on board to play a one armed women in the upcoming reboot "Mad Max: Fury Road". This is both hot and gross at the same time. But it would be a lot grosser if it was called "Furry Road", because those animal 'effers are a bunch of sickos.

Who hasn't this happened to? You go out for some drinks, you have way to much and then you wake up in the morning with a bag of pot and cocaine shoved up your ass. Apparently you can now go to jail for that. Thanks for nothing, Uncle Sam!

Even I'm not old enough to have caught "The Excorcist" in theaters when it first came out but on September 30th, we can all run to the theater to catch the classic on the big screen once again. Coming out one week before the film is released on blu-ray, Fathom Events will be showing the director's cut of the film followed by a few of the special features from the upcoming disk release.

This past Saturday saw the first round of Emmy Awards at their Creative Arts Ceremony where the more technical awards are given before the broadcast. In a move that shouldn't be a surprise to any fans of the show, John Lithgow took home the Emmy for Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his run as serial killer Arthur Mitchell on "Dexter".

Hoping to see Doug Bradley reprise his Pinhead role in the upcoming 9th sequel, "Hellraiser: Revelations"? I hate to burst your bubble but according to Doug himself, he doesn't plan on returning.

Need some more wrestling in your horror movies? Than check out this blurb on "Monster Brawl" which just began shooting. Starring wrestling stars Jimmy Hart and Kevin Nash, the film plans on showcasing a monster fight-club set up in an old graveyard. Which to be honest? Sounds kind of awesome.

In Real People News:

A 24 year old mother to be was checked into the hospital when her doctor ordered her to be connected to a feeding tube due to severe vomiting from her pregnancy. When the assigned nurse confused the tubes connected to the young woman, she hooked her feeding tube up to her IV forcing her meals directly into the patients veins. The mix-up resulted in the death of both the mother and the unborn child.
