horror shorts

I saw a great indie film recently called "The Corridor" (here's my review). I was so interested in the script and subject matter that I ended up contacting the film's writer, Josh MacDonald to see if he had any other genre projects up his sleeve I should know about. Turns out, he does! Here's a trailer for his new short film, titled "GAME". I've had a chance to see it myself, and as someone who isn't usually a fan of the format, I have to say this short is definitely worth your time.

There's a new horror short making it's way around the festival circuit and judging by the trailer, it looks pretty darn creepy. Clive Tonge is the director of "Sunday Best", a horror short filmed on just a 750 dollar budget and starring Bill Fellows (Downton Abbey, The Tournament), Andrew Squires and Valerie Shields. Here's the official synopsis:

It's not often that a video on the internet can get me not only to watch for 10 minutes, but to actually stop all the other distractions I'm engaging in and give it my full intention. This zombified horror short did just that. It doesn't hurt that it stars Julia Voth (Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil video games, Bitch Slap), who is, you might say, not hard on the eyes.
