You're Next (REVIEW)

The long gestating festival gem "You're Next" has finally been released to the general public. Originally produced in 2011, it fell a similar fate to last year's "Cabin in the Woods"; being a very well received critical darling but getting put on the back burner for other studio material. Featuring a score of Indie horror icons (Joe Swanberg, Ti West, and writer/actor Simon Barrett), "You're Next" is a prime example of the next generation in horror beginning to surface for prime time exposure.

Horror By the Sub-Genres: Western Horror

Isolation and loneliness are often at the heart of any situation that instills irrational fear in humanity, and nothing is more isolated and lonely than the untamed American West. With hundreds of lawless miles in-between outposts of civilization, a single human being is at constant threat from rough terrain, weather, and both animal and human predators. When he finds himself dehydrated, starving, lost, or injured, he becomes imprisoned by that distance; it is claustrophobia in the world’s biggest locked room.

Trailers: Red Band for Anthology Film "V/H/S"

I've had nothing but bad things to say about the new anthology flick "V/H/S". Mostly because I write for the internet and that's what you're suppose to do. But today I've seen the new red band trailer and as much as I hate to say it the flick looks kind of good. Minus that stupid flying vampire thing in there. You'll see.
