Generally, I would shy away from posting other people's reviews, but "MadWorld" is a special case. You see, it was only released for that system I love to play at a friends house but can't convince myself that it's worth buying, despite my desire to perfect my balancing on a plastic platform skills. Since its release a few days ago, the mega-ultraviolent beat-em-up "MadWorld" has seemed to live up to the hype. The IGN Gamestats score has this one clocking in at an average of 8.9 out of 10, even though it seems to be slightly more weighted toward the more mainstream reviewing sites (**cough** their sites).
Despite my groaning, I do enjoy their video review quite a bit, which caters perfectly to my attention span:
Every time I see a review like this, I get THAT much closer to begrudgingly picking up a Wii. It's following me every where I go, and if I don't get one in the next few weeks, I may just have to kidnap someone that has one so I can start ripping up black+white baddies with controller gestures. What I meant to say is, if you live within 10 miles of the greater Rochester area, you might want to head towards your hiding place of choice ASAP.
