Wii

On August 25th, the Nintendo Wii will be getting another dose of grown up horror gaming with the release of Cursed Mountain.

For whatever reason, I haven't bought a non-XBLA game in months. It could be the fact that it's the summer (yeah right), but it's more likely the fact that nothing has particularly tickled my fancy of late.

The video game world has been abuzz this week with the release of the "Ghostbusters" video game, and the buzz is good. Thanks to a pretty awesome daughter, I got my own copy for Father's Day!

With E3 off and running this week, we're getting a ton of new game announcements. We've known that Guitar Hero 5 has been in the works for a while, but we now have some information on some of the music that will be featured.

I reported some weeks ago about the upcoming "interactive haunted house" game for the Wii based on Ju-On (The Grudge), noting that a US release was unconfirmed. Well, that all changed as the now titled "Ju-On: The Grudge" is slated for release stateside this October.

As far as I know, the upcoming "Ju-On (Grudge)" game for the Wii is Japan-only, but this trailer is certainly worth a look.

Recent trailers for the upcoming "Ghostbusters" game have definitely planted the seeds of curiosity if not full-on fanboy excitement.

I remember being shocked to hear the word "shit" in "Final Fantasy VII" once upon a time, and needless to say, things have changed. Most mainstream M-rated video games these days should be packaged with a bar of soap to wash their mouths out with.

Generally, I would shy away from posting other people's reviews, but "MadWorld" is a special case.
