Video: "Alien Vs. Predator" The Video Game

I've fallen out of the loop on the whole "Alien Vs. Predator" movie craze but apparently they haven't been very good. The video game coming out on March 31st though looks good, very good even. I could use a little more game play footage and a ton more Jesse The Body but from the looks of things you can be all bad ass and kill the crap out of humans. Dreams do come true. Check the video out below and pick up your copy for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PC in March.

Snapshot: "Deadspace 2" (2010)

Concept art of a "Necromorph" from EA's upcoming "Dead Space 2" for the XBOX 360 and PS3. The survival horror sequel is currently set for a March 31st, 2010 release date.

The Violent Sibling Rivalry of "Bioshock 2" (VIDEO)

The only thing scarier than the havoc you can wreak as a Big Daddy is the challenge you'll face from the Big Sister. These two videos exemplify the carnage we're in for with "Bioshock 2".

New "Left 4 Dead 2" TV Spot

“Left 4 Dead 2” is just under three weeks away from hitting stores and so far all the signs are pointing to the sequel being even better than the original. So as the calendar gets closer to November 14th we’re sure to see more and more media surrounding the game popping up. The first of which you can view below. It’s the new TV spot for the game and I can only imagine it will be running during the World Series. Or as my fellow Met fans and I like to call it, the first sign of the Apocalypse. It’s a sports reference on a horror site, we’re making it happen today! Batter up kids!

Left 4 Dead 2 "Scavenge" Mode Announced

In addition to the melee weapons and the new infected classes and types, fans of "Left 4 Dead" were also promised a new mode (or two?) in the sequel. The infected cat was let out of the bag today with the announcement of "Scavenge" mode, which works a bit like a one sided version of the Capture the Flag concept that's so popular in multiplayer games.

Final "Wolfenstein" Trailer

The sun is always going to rise and people are always going to love killing Nazis. It’s a fact, you can look it up. Because of this constant we now have another "Wolfenstein" game coming out tomorrow. In celebration Activision has taken the time to push out one more trailer before the game finally hits shelves that you can view below. The game looks to be chock full of everything we’ve grown to expect from a "Wolfenstein" title. Big guns, creepy undead Nazis and tons of explosions. Should be a good time!

"Saw" Video Game Preview Features Toilet Diving

Although the release of the "Saw: The Video Game" (Spaceballs the Flamethrower?) is months away, IGN recently posted this video preview that finally offers a little more insight into the general makeup of the game.

Behind The Scenes Clip From “Wolfenstein”

It’s been months since I’ve turned on my Xbox 360 but from the looks of the newly released behind the scenes clip from “Wolfenstein” I think I might be picking up the controller again. Activision gives a pretty good overview of the game and how it’s evolved, and most importantly explains to fans how they’ve tried to stay true to the original games. “Wolfenstein” comes out for the Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3 on August 4th.

Walk a Zombie Bridge in "Undead Knights" (PSP)

Everyone and their mother is putting out a zombie game these days, and Tecmo is now jumping into the fray with "Undead Knights." Slated for an October release in Japan, it will feature pretty straightforward hack and slash gameplay as well as wacky environmental puzzles that involve using the decaying hordes to cross rivers, topple towers, etc. It's on the PSP so it looks to be about the quality of your average PS2 game, but zombie game completists will find something to love. With a trailer this enthusiastic, how could you not be just a little excited?

Channel Your Inner Lovecraft With "Scribblenauts"

Though I tend to ignore the seemingly kiddish Nintendo DS, I occasionally stumble upon a little gem that makes me long for the days where I was playing "Super Mario Land 2" on my Game Boy (the BIG one) with the volume turned down in church. Last month at E3, players got their first taste of "Scribblenauts," an upcoming puzzle action game from 5th Cell and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. While on the surface it appears to be nothing more than a kid's toy, what lies beneath the surface is the making of a really, really cool game.
