Remember that Christopher Cross song "Sailing"? Man that was a good song, I'm listening to it as I write this post for you. It probably won't pop up in the movie "Triangle" though, which is too bad. Then again when he wrote it I don't think he had a bunch of people trapped on some sort of ghost demon boat in mind. I could be wrong though.

"Triangle" hit theaters over in Australia back in August of 09 and finally found it's way to the states last month. It'll be the topic of next week's podcast so you should hop on over to Netflix and stream the crap out of it.

Cherished Hong Kong filmmakers Tsui Hark, Ringo Lam, and Johnnie To struggle to pool their creative resources in the 2007 heist-gone-awry thriller "Triangle," a feat which is, if nothing else, ambitious. Considering the quality of talent operating behind the camera, you'd expect this sort of movie to pop and sizzle on-screen, regardless of how complicated or contrived its script may be.

I have to give the creators of “Triangle” credit, they’ve got something I haven’t seen before. Ok not the whole trapped in a storm on a boat thing, not the “Butterfly Effect” thing and not the creepy empty ship thing. But freakin Bermuda Triangle? Alright the SciFi channel may have beaten them to that also, but still, well played people!
