Trailer: "The Crazies" (2010)

Although I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the first trailer for Breck Eisner's upcoming remake of George A. Romero's 1973 shocker "The Crazies," the latest clip is definitely a little more effective. For whatever reason, I happen to think Timothy Olyphant is a decent actor, and it's good to see him recovering from the atrocity that was "Hitman." For those who are arriving late to the proverbial party, "The Crazies" chronicles the outbreak of a mysterious disease which turns ordinary, everyday suburban schlubs into blood-thirsty killing machines. Survivors try to escape, the government tries to keep everyone contained, and all Hell tries to break loose. If all goes according to plan, the film will infect your tender senses on February 26th, 2010. Check out the trailer below.

Hitman (REVIEW)

"Hitman" is based on the popular video game series for the Playstation 2, and follows the exploits of "47", an agent who has been trained from the time he was a small child to join the ranks of the world's best assassins. We're shown this through a clumsy montage over the opening credits, that for some inexplicable reason uses old footage from the show "Dark Angel" (circa 2000). We then jump into the future to see 47 confronting an investigator that we learn has been tracking him, and then we jump back in time three months to the beginning of the story.
