"Paranormal Activity" director and scribe Oren Peli has announced his next project, Area 51. Applying the same narrative style as his current hit, "Area 51" will follow a group of teens who find themselves mistakenly at the infamous Air Force base.

Eduardo Sanchez confirms rumors that he has re-teamed with Dan Myrick to begin work on "Blair Witch 3". The movie appears to be in the early planning and scripting phase, so don't go lining up at the theater just yet.

Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash face off once again, but this time on the silver screen instead of the ring. Both wrestlers star in director Bruce Koehler's "River of Darkness". Can Angle pull off a convincing small town sheriff? Better yet... can he pull off acting?

It will be playing in the same theaters as before, but now the film will be showing at all hours! "Paranormal Activity" took in roughly $525,000 this weekend on limited screens.

MTV announces that "My Super Psycho Sweet 16" will premiere this month on MTV. Sure, it's not music videos, but at least we get to see some annoying teens get muderlated as opposed to watching them try to date in awkward situations for a change! Watch for it October 23rd at 10pm Eastern.

Casting news continues to trickle out for the new 'American Anime' NOTLD remake, "Night of the Living Dead: Origins". Joining Danielle Harris in the titular role of Barbara will be Mos Def as Ben.

Rumors are starting to circulate that the next outing for Jason Vorhees in remake land will be shot in 3-D. However, Platinum Dunes Brad Fuller says the film has yet to be greenlit since there is no script as of now. One can only hope that a 3-D Friday the 13th might be less mediocre than the remake.

It's the feel good hit of the summer. Well alright it's Fall but it's still a pretty interesting story. After last week's screenings of "Paranormal Activity" the buzz around the film keeps getting strong.

Good news for those hot in anticipation for the indie film "Paranormal Activity" which is released on a limited basis this Friday, Paramount will be giving away tickets to free midnight screenings in select cities across the US this coming Thursday night.

Some great remake news today. After going through test screenings in preparation for a remake of the moc-doc "Paranormal Activity", Paramount has decided that the film tested so well that there is no need to remake it. The film, which has garnered heavy buzz in the horror community lately, will debut September 25th at Midnight at Fantastic Fest 2009 in Texas.

Ryuhei Kitamura ("Versus", "Midnight Meat Train") is going to be directing an adaptation of one of Stephen Kings "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" tales, titled "Home Delivery".

Victor Salva says "Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral" is finally coming together money wise, with Gina Phillips slated to reprise her role as Trish, 23 years later. He also uses the phrase "you have to keep four or five balls in the air at a time", which might not be the smartest thing for a man with his past to say. Hey, just pointing out the obvious here.

I have an idea for the most annoying film ever. "Fight Club" with werewolves. Oh crap, looks like someone beat me to it.

Ti West says "Cabin Fever 2" isn't really worth seeing. And he's the director, so that's probably not a good thing.

"Paranormal Activity", a film shot entirely from the POV of security cameras in a couple's haunted home, has been given an R rating by the MPAA. No word on release date yet, but this one has been gaining buzz on the festival circuit for a while now, so hopefully we'll hear more soon.

Check out the creature from "Pandorum" in this clip from the film, which gets released September 25th. I haven't heard a lot on this in terms of quality, but it looks highly solid to me.
