Hide and Go Kill 2 (Creepy Hide and Seek) (REVIEW)

To say that I hated the first “Hide and Go Kill” would be a bit of an understatement. Not only was it a horrible movie, it was easily the worst film I’ve reviewed in my tenure here at BGH. It’s a truly awful, unredeemable film. Unfortunately, it’s also the first of a two part series. Thankfully, the second film in the series is better than the first. However, the difference is marginal and the second film is still a virtually unwatchable mess.

Demeking: The Sea Monster (Demekingu) (REVIEW)

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an archaeologist so badly. And why wouldn’t I? I mean, look at Indiana Jones, that dude kicked ass. And Alan Grant in “Jurassic Park”? Yeah, dude was pretty awesome (though in retrospect, Jeff Goldblum’s character is way more awesome). Of course, I now know that archaeologists don’t fight Nazis or get invited to Dinosaur amusement parks. Instead, they just get dysentery in some crummy town in the middle of nowhere and hang out in dusty museum basements with no air conditioning. It kind of sucks.

Trailer: The Mutant Girls Squad

Noboru Iguchi and Yoshihiro Nishimura are, simply put, extremely badass. The directing duo's upcoming feature "The Mutant Girls Squad" continues in the tradition set forth by "Tokyo Gore Police" and "The Machine Girl", so it's no surprise that I'm overly excited about the project. The teaser trailer is only 30 seconds long, but it should give you plenty of reasons to pee your pants in shameless, unadulterated glee. I know I did. Twice! One can only hope that a full-length trailer will arrive shortly. When it does, you can rest assured I'll blog about it.
