SInce it's October and that makes it the official spooky time of the year, I'm going to be playing every single day of the month! Of course, I missed the first couple days, but I'll make sure to remedy that with some extra long episodes in the coming weeks. After my dunder-headed attempt to simply get through part two of the village last week, I am back to (hopefully) get through to the church.
First off, I have to make sure that the game's audio isn't so insanely loud because you can't hear my spot on commentary this time around. Let's be real though, is it really that spot on? Only God knows. One thing I was stressing this episode was how important it is to treat this game like an actual Resident Evil game and not an "action" horror game like so many like to tout it as. Yes, there's action with plenty of ammo and guns, however, RE4 still very much plays like the original trilogy of games. Conserving ammo and coming up with creative means to kill the villagers is key to making sure that later in the game you can get through the more difficult adversaries. Before I was trying too hard to be quick about the whole thing, but hey, when I slow down and really take my time, I can get a great deal more done.
