Snapshot: "Dead Shadows" (2012)

"Dead Shadows" is a french film about a teen named Chris whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago, on a day that Haley's comet could be seen from Earth. Now there's a new comet making an appearance and of course, as any good 80's throwback film would have it, the Earthlings are partying it up. But then Chris notices that people are starting to act weird and violent. Uh-oh.
Producer/Director David Cholewa says he was looking to :
redefine the creature horror genre with lots of action. By taking what the French are well-known for in the horror genre and going back to the old 80's vibes and elevating it to the next level, we want to create a film that is fun, suspenseful, full of action and very scary.
"Dead Shadows" does not yet have a release date, but anything that sounds like a mix between "Night of the Comet" and "28 Days Later" has me excited.
