Music Video: Pig Destroyer "The Diplomat"

Pig Destroyer are an acquired taste. I’m not going to lie, the first time I heard their 2001 album “Prowler in the Yard” I had a headache for 3 days. But over time I’ve grown to love them. A dedication they’ve decided to reward with playing Brooklyn for the first time in I don’t know how many years just 2 weeks after I move half way across the country. Thanks guys.

"Dexter" Music Video Released

Yep, you heard me. Showtime is pretty clear on the fact that "Dexter" is one of it's biggest hits, and they are promoting the crap out of the upcoming season. They've just released a new "Dexter" music video from Rolfe Kent titled "Tonight's the Night - The Ice Trucker's Remix." Now I don't know anything about techno music so I don't know if the beats are actually good or not, but the imagery is pretty trippy and fun, so there's that. Check it out. Go wild. Have a dance party in your cubicle.

Music Video: Every Time I Die "I Suck (Blood)"

I'm all giddy as a lamb to see Every Time I Die getting back to their punching in the face style of music that made me all a flutter back on their 2003 album "Hot Damn!". Case in point the new video for "I Suck (Blood)" off of their new album "Ex Lives" which was released back in March. It's got all kinds of creepy stalking, blood and even some weird make out sessions. It's kind of the greatest video to ever be released this week.

Video: Slipknot's "Snuff"

Before we get going I just want to go on record as saying this post is in no way an endorsement of Slipknot, their music, or kids who hate their parents because they won't let them stay out past 10 on a school night. However, I feel it's my responsibility as a blogger to bring you this video. If you mute it you get a pretty decent little freak-out that includes Malcolm McDowell, cross dressing and even some nasty cuts. Even Ashley Laurence from "Hellraiser" shows up for some fun. I'm sure most of us can relate. Who hasn't broken into a girl's apartment, dressed up in her clothes and then cut themselves wide open with a broken wine glass. Whatever, don't judge.

Narrows "Gypsy Kids" Video

Yesterday the band Narrows posted a video for the track “Gypsy Kids” which comes of their new CD “New Distances”. Director Craig Murray has created one of the most brutal videos I’ve ever seen. I’m 100% sure this will never find it’s way on to MTV or any other TV channel for that matter in the US. There’s no storyline to it really, but there is a whole lot of mutilation, bare asscheeks and of course blood. I had nightmares last night.
