House of Fears (REVIEW)

House of Fears - House of Evil Clowns

“House of Fears” meanders from a brief, jarring cold open to a scene of Rocky Point Haunted House designer Cydney Neil (appearing as herself) investigating an African mine, to teen stepsisters Hailey and Samantha (Corri English and Sandra McCoy) getting escorted to a party by their parents.

Paranormal Activity 2 (REVIEW)

The phenomenon that was "Paranormal Activity" burned so brightly last year that at times it's easy to forget about "Paranormal Activity" the movie. As the legend goes, on a ridiculous shoe-string budget, that film went on to gross nearly $200 million worldwide, mostly on the back of a viral marketing strategy and word of mouth. "Paranormal Activity 2" would never had the chance to sneak up on anybody the same way.

"Knife Edge" Trailer Looks Like Other Things

This British horror film "Knife Edge" reminds me of a couple of different movies I've seen before. Hmmm... I'm thinking "The Shining" mixed with "The Others", with a splash of "The Grudge"? That's either a recipe for a shit sandwich or a decent little thriller, and to be honest I really can't tell. I would give this a spin though, what about you guys?

Scare With A Care at Mansion of Terror

Down here in Texas, we will probably have to wait until late October before we start feeling the awesomeness that is Autumn, but thankfully, we don't have to wait for Halloween. It's haunted house season ya'll!

With temperatures down and wallets tight, why not get the best scare for your buck? Located in Texas between Round Rock and North Austin, "Mansion of Terror" is rated #1 in the nation by Lionsgate films.

Universal Studios Announces Their 2009 Halloween Horror Nights

Looks like Freddy, Jason and Letherface are getting the boot this year at the Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2009. Both the Hollywood and Orlando locations have opted to give Jigsaw from the “Saw” films his own haunted maze this year and let their usual cast enjoy a vacation. According to their site Michael Myers will also be joining in on the fun in Hollywood, with Chucky and the Wolfman making the trip to Orlando.

1408 (REVIEW)

"1408" is a summer fear flick that certainly has the pedigree worthy of a horror classic. It has everything going for it. You've got a story by the legendary Stephen King, some great lead actors like John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, and some solid direction from Swedish director Mikael Håfström. Does this strange brew mix together to form a summer blockbuster? Read on and find out.
