Found-footage

The Banshee Chapter (REVIEW)

The story of "The Banshee Chapter" is based on a U.S. government conspiracy perpetrated on it’s own citizens during the 50’s and 60’s, under the code-name: “Project MKUltra.” The purpose of the experiments were supposedly to find a way to chemically control the mind and also to find some kind of truth-serum to administer to enemy spies and soldiers.

Lovely Molly (REVIEW)

“Lovely Molly” is the latest movie from director Eduardo Sanchez of “The Blair Witch Project” and, like that film, relies heavily on found footage. With the fact that Sanchez co-directed "The Blair Witch Project" in mind, I felt another found-footage film was something of an odd choice. I would think having one’s name so closely associated with the movie that sparked an avalanche of found-footage horror movies, one might want to step away from that style.
