US Trailer For "Dead Snow"

“Ein, Zwei, Die!” It’s a pretty awesome tag line even if it is a bit confusing. Wouldn’t that translate into “one, two, the”? Anyway I haven't taken German class in close to fifteen years so I’m going to ignore that. One thing I am not confused about is that “Dead Snow” looks awesome and after watching the US trailer below you’ll have no choice but to agree with me.

If you’re not familiar with the story yet here’s a short break down. A bunch of kids go into the mountains to ski and ride around on their “snow-scooters”. But it turns out the area they are in was also a key harbor for the Nazi army back in World War 2. Well that doesn’t stop the kids from cracking open a small box of gold they discover and waking the Nazi soldiers from their icy graves. Nazi zombies folks, catch the fever!

Sound a little “Raiders Of The Lost Ark” to you? Yeah me too, which makes the “fortune and glory kid” line even more awesome. And don't even get me started on how excited I am for the "Braveheart" style battle scene.

Right now the film is scheduled for a limited release in the US on June 19th and I’m sure a DVD will be follow shortly after. I’ve got high hopes for this one. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
