Trailer: "The Dead Inside - The Musical"

Oh don't roll your eyes at me - Yes, it's a musical. And I'll remind you there have been some fantastic horror themed musicals, like Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, & The Sound of Music (oh wait, that was just terrifying to ME), just to name a few. So if you toss this aside as foo-foo girlie crap, you could be missing what is looking to be a very well done, dark tale of terror.

As the synopsis at the film's official site describes:

"Wes (Dustin Fasching) is a burned out photographer paying the bills shooting weddings. Fi (Sarah Lassez) is the author of a series of zombie novellas called, The Dead Survive. They are lovers who, at one time, were at the top of their creative game, but now have misplaced their muse. When Fi begins to show signs of mental illness, Wes does everything in his power to help her get better. But darker forces lurk inside her, and soon they realize the true horror of the situation. Fighting against a disturbed entity, they rediscover inspiration in the grimmest corners of this musical horror movie."

This will be premiering at the United Film Festival in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 4th, so keep an ear out around that time - I'm sure we'll have a in-depth review (Joe REALLY loves muscials). For now, check out the atmosphere, and amazing singing in the official trailer.
