Thomas Jane Directed "Dark Country" Has a Trailer

It seems like these days you can’t spit without hitting a horror film with Ron Perlman in it. Trust me I tried last night and as a result I am not longer allowed in the Fairview New Jersey Blockbuster. But on top of “Dark Country” being another Perlman flick it also stars and was directed by genre vet Thomas Jane (“The Mist” and “Dreamcatcher”).

A couple en route from Las Vegas are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride.

So this is where I insert the joke about how this is another movie about a couple who runs over a hitchhiker in the middle of nowhere and has to deal with it. But I’m sure there is something different about “Dark Country”, I’m just not sure what it is yet. Originally Jane had said the film would be hitting theaters in 3D but now it looks like it will be straight to DVD. Not a good sign. I guess we’ll find out on October 6th when “Dark Country” is released.
