"Straw Man" Trailer, Isolation Horror

I was reading about this project last week and was realy intrigued, but decided to wait for a trailer before I talked about it on the site. Well, one popped up this weekend so here we go.

It's a UK Indie film, that essentially looks like what "Castaway" might have been like if it were a horror film. Here's the official synopsis:

Directed by Andrew Barker, STRAW MAN follows the story of The Lone Man (Simpson), who attempts to fight his own madness by keeping himself company in an empty world by surrounding himself with handcrafted people made of straw.

It appears to be shot on video, but the visuals are really strong in both the trailer and the production stills that I've seen so far. Let's be honest, this could either be really great, or go horribly, horribly wrong. You're talking about an unknown actor that essentially has to carry an entire film on his own, so there's always the possibility of it being a bomb. Still, I like what I see so far.
