Sophisticult Back in the House!
After a lazy summer break, Professor John Shelton and I have returned to the microphones with a new episode of Sophisticult Cinema, your favorite dose of audible fanciness.
We're calling this Sophisticult Cinema: Season 2: The Sophisticultier.
On our first episode back we check out John Hillcoat's follow-up to that laugh-fest "The Road." In "Lawless" the Bonderant brothers thumb their noses at Prohibition and run moonshine from the hills of western Virginia to cups of wealthy tycoons across the land. They run into some trouble from one of the weirdest antagonists this side of "Hellraiser 4."
