Sarah Connor Chronicles Bites it?

Given Fox's history with shows like this (See "Dark Angel", "Firefly" and others), it doesn't necessarily come as a surprise that "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" appears to be on the verge of being canceled. To be fair, there has been no announcement yet, but industry insiders are all but sounding the death knell for the show which has lasted two seasons.

"It's done," an insider said. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks."

I haven't been personally following the series myself, but I know some of our staff has and are enjoying it. Other reactions have ranged from "mediocre" to "terrible". I guess at the end of the day it all depends on what your tastes are.

The real question, as it always is, is why FOX continues to fund these high-budgeted Sci-fi shows if they have no intention of letting them gestate and find an audience. On its last run, FOX moved both "Sarah Connor" and Joss Whedon's new show "Firefly" to Fridays, long known as their high sign that they're about to kick a show in the junk (and effectively to the curb).

Is there anyone out there that's going to miss this show, should this news turn out to be true? Sound off in the comments.
