In case you haven't been privy to this gem, or just needed a refresher before listening to the podcast, here's the trailer for "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning". An attempted reboot of the franchise in the mid 90's, this has been recognized by some horror fans as a true low for the genre as an artform in a decade that was filled with them. The film is also infamous for its legal troubles. After being shot in 1994 and staying in limbo for over 2 years, the producers attempted to promote it using the names of Renee Zelwegger and Matthew McConaughey, who had gone on to become stars in the time since filming had wrapped. Needless to say, their agents were a little worried. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand why.
