Retro Trailer: "Brainscan" (1994)

Believe it or not boys and girls, in the early 90's, Edward Furlong was considered a teen heartthrob. So thank you, Eddie Furlong, for being the reason I saw a really fun horror movie that I would have never watched otherwise at such a young age. Eddie plays Michael Bower, a lonely teenager who is obsessed with horror films. He comes across a virtual reality video game called Brainscan, in which the player becomes the killer. The game, hosted by a demon-like villain named Trickster, allows you to think like a killer, cover up clues and get rid of witnesses and evidence. The video game sends Michael into a hypnotic state and when Michael wakes up he realizes the video game may actually be causing him to kill in real life. If you haven't seen this early 90's techno horror gem, it's definitely worth a look.
