Posters: Help bring "Behind the Mask" to a theater near you!

There's some amazing indie movies out there, and it's a shame that they don't get the exposure they deserve. Even if they are lucky enough to get a theater release, it's usually located too far for the majority of the fans to go & see it. A good movie deserves to be seen in all its glory on the big screen!

As luck would have it, director Scott Glosserman of the amazing "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" has the same beliefs, and has started up a company dedicated to getting indie films shown in areas where fans want them. His company, GATHR, has taken VOD one step further and created TOD - Theater on Demand! If a movie is being released, and you want to see it in your area, head on over to their website and request it. If enough people vote for the location, it will be shown in a local theater, complete with a live Q&A session. Pretty damn neat, if I may say so. I love my horror, but driving over an hour to see a movie does get tiring at times.

The service has started up with its first offering: "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon". Now, I would give my left arm to see that on the big screen, so I know I'm voting! All proceeds from this movie go to making its sequel "Before the Mask: The Return of Leslie Vernon", so just by viewing the movie, you're doing your part to keep fantastic indie movies alive. Damn, that makes me feel warm & fuzzy all over.

Now, if you're REALLY a fan of Behind the Mask, you can help out even more by purchasing some amazing posters designed by artist Justin Osbourn from the Before the Mask Store. All of the kick ass posters are printed on 100lb glossy paper stock and are tube shipped. They're also hand numbered, but order fast - there's only 425 of them! Well... 424 now. *evil grin*

I think this is an amazing step forward in getting recognition for movies that deserve it - don't forget to vote, kiddies!!!
