BGH THIRSTY THURSDAYS - "DISMISSED" DRINKING GAME
Here at Bloody Good Horror we spend much of our time talking about good movies and bad movies alike, and picking apart the things that place titles in either category. In horror specifically, there is a beautiful gradient, comprised of everything from "so bad it's good" to "just plain bad." For many movies in this grey area, the viewing experience itself - who you watch it with and how - can be as important as the movie itself. In that tradition, monthly on a Thursday we'll fondly recall one of those kinds of movies that seem made for the loud and alcohol-fueled viewing party, and give you the framework to host a screening of your very own, complete with imbibing instructions!

We here at Bloody Good Horror aim to please, and this month we have selected a movie for Thirsty Thursday that has something for everyone.*
This month's movie is Dismissed, which has recently been released on Netflix. Not only does this movie herald the return of Dylan Sprouse to acting, but it also might hold the distinction of being the only movie (maybe ever) to use the erotic thriller format of Fatal Attraction and Obsessed without actually including much/any sex. Are you intrigued?
The movie is totally relatable if you've ever gotten so angry about getting a B+ that you totally lose it. Who hasn't been there right? So grab a beverage and get comfy. This is going to be fun!
Rules:
- Drink whenever Dylan Sprouse does something totally inocuous...but threatening.
- Imbibe for each book title that gets dropped.
- Take a sip every time you feel bad for your high school teachers - they were doing the best they could!
- Drink whenever another student or adult ignores crazy behavior.
- Finish your drink when you remember that this is the kid from Big Daddy.
*So long as you have a weird love for erotic thrillers of the 90's and 2000's, or of the Sprouse twins. You know, everyone!
