TFTDS: "Basher Malone"

As a continuation of my "Tales From the Darkside" post from the other day, I promised to check in from time to time with updates on the ep's that I was taping off of the Scifi channel.

Since then I've racked up a few favorites and deleted a few clunkers, but yesterday I ran across one that I just had to share.

It's called "Basher Malone", and is basically about... wait for it... a good guy professional wrestler who has to wrestle a hell demon to save his life and his career. That's about all you can say really. This is an example of the campier ep's of the series, and it is truly an awful, awful piece of television. That said, any fan of 80's wrestling will surely get more than a few hearty laughs out of this. Managers, heels, faces, eye gouges, cookie wielding mothers (?)... all of the over the top staples of 80's professional wrestling are present and accounted for.

It will only take 20 minutes, and when you're done you'll be one step closer to saying you've seen it all... and isn't that worth it?

By the way, taking a quick peek at the episode list on Wikipedia, I noticed that this was the last ever episode of the series. Can't say I didn't see that one coming.

(oh, and just to prove I'm not crazy, my next post will be of an actual good episode... promise!)
