Hollywood Undead Talks Undead Movies

Today we're being taken over by the Hollywood Undead!  Checking in from the road in Europe while promoting their new single "Day of the Dead," J-Dog drops by with a quick list of horror/undead movies he loves (and hates). The single will be featured on the band's forthcoming album of the same name, set to drop in January of 2015, marking the band's fourth studio album and first since 2013's "Notes From the Underground."  Enjoy!

Cabin in the Woods
J-Dog: "Like any good campy horror movie, you need comedy in it and it has to be done right. This one nailed it."

Evil Dead

J-Dog: "Doing a remake of any movie is hard. Usually the right thing to do is just make it different from the original and not copy it. This one kind of did that and it was gory as hell. Made me queasy once or twice."

Oculus

J-Dog: "This movie actually sucked. I was pissed I spent the money and time to see it. That's why I'm bringing it up. I like the actress in it but the movie fell short."

Let the Right One In

J-Dog: "Creepy as hell. Gives you a glimpse into life of a small foreign town and how desolate it can be. Probably the most realistic vampire movie ever made."

The Orphanage

J-Dog: "A lot of foreign horror movies are good but this one was great. Another one that was creepy as hell. It's hard to be in a theater and get scared but this one did it."

Pan's Labyrinth

J-Dog: "That guy with the eyes on his hands and that whole scene was scarier then 90% of horror movies made."

Insidious

J-Dog: "Instant classic when it came out."

Tucker and Dale vs Evil

J-Dog: "Good old fashion comedy/horror"

Drag Me to Hell

J-Dog: "That director Sam Raimi is awesome. He has crazy camera angles that make things intense. That one made me talk out loud a few times through out it. That old lady character was nuts!"

Amityville Horror

J-Dog: "Ryan Reynolds bod, he can make a straight Christian into a gay horror movie lover. "
