FX president and general manager John Landgraf recently addressed some questions regarding the status of the second season of "American Horror Story". The haunted house themed series from "Glee" creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk drew in a record 3.22 million viewers and broke network records throughout the season. After a pretty chaotic roller coaster ride first season, many viewers were left wondering just what was going to happen for season 2. If you have yet to watch the first season, then I'll be polite and issue a SPOILER WARNING for what follows. You're welcome.
After the season 1 finale aired, with not only the entire Harmon family being killed off but also a glimpse 3 years into the future, many viewers were left wondering where the series would go from there. You see, the creators of "American Horror Story" had planned right from the get go that each new season would bring a new story with new characters and of course, a new cast. In fact, Ryan Murphy is currently in the process of assembling the season 2 cast and we may see some familiar faces.
Your guess is as good as mine as to what season 1 cast members may return. Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange, who won a Golden Globe for Supporting Actress for her role as devilish neighbor Constance Langdon, revealed she was considering returning for a second go-round but nothing was definite.
What do you guys think, can it work with a cast of new faces?
