Retro Clip: "Home Sweet Home" (1981)

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, delicious food and booze (lots of it if you're in my family) and.... Body by Jake?! That's right folks, "Home Sweet Home" is a Thanksgiving themed slasher flick starring Jake Steinfeld of Body by Jake fame. Now I am sure this film is god awful, but it may be worth a look to see Jake play "The Killer," an escaped mental patient, high on PCP, who torments a family during Thanksgiving dinner. "Home Sweet Home" also marks an early appearance by Vinessa Shaw ("The Hills Have Eyes" remake) as Angel. Unfortunately, the movie does not appear to be available on DVD or Netflix. Luckily for us (or not), a fan of the film was nice enough to compile a video of kill scenes from the movie. Wow. That's all I have to say. The first scene is really the only one worth watching and it made me laugh out loud.
