Horror Short: Peter Dukes' "The Beast" (2012)

"The Beast" is a short horror film about the internal struggles that a father faces when his young boy is afflicted with the curse of the werewolf. Written and directed by Peter Dukes, "The Beast" is a loving nod to classic horror films and stars genre favorite Bill Oberst Jr, Peter Le Bas, and Alexander Le Bas. Although shot in just one day, on a six hundred dollar budget, the short manages to deliver an eerie atmosphere, a stellar storyline with multiple layers, and a talented cast through and through. It's clear that everyone involved in this short are fans of the genre and love what they do. Below you will find the film in its entirety, clocking in at just above 12 minutes. Be sure to show it some love and support our indie filmmakers. For more info on Peter Dukes and his films, head on over to Dream Seekers Productions.
