Common Shiner's "Social Mediasochist" Literally Portrays Spooky School

Frequent listeners of the show often hear us muse on "spooky school," our favorite dead-horse inside joke that only makes sense to a handful of people. For those of you that just can't seem to get on Joe's level of imagination, the folks from the Chicago band Common Shiner have scared up this brilliant music video that re-casts all of your favorite horror villians as high school students. I'm sure they didn't get the concept from us, but I'm more than willing to take credit for it when this video blows up, which has kind of already happened.

Horror parodies often fall flat, but there's something infectious about this video, and I'm not just talking about the driving power-pop jam behind it. The production values are high and you have to admire the dedication to the references. Not everyone remembers to invite Leslie Vernon to the party.

Well done, Common Shiner!
