A Clip From "House of the Devil"

I've got a clip here from Ti West's "House of the Devil". West landed on my radar a few years ago with his shockingly impressive indie film "The Roost". He was then hired to direct "Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever", which he has since disowned due to meddling from Lionsgate. This is his next original project, which has gotten mixed reaction so far on the festival circuit. The quality of "The Roost" is enough to keep me tuning in to see what he has in store for the future.

"House of the Devil" is now available on VOD, Amazon and XBOX, and will be arriving in limited theaters on October 30. "Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever" will be hitting DVD in February.

Set in the 1980s and based on true, unexplained events, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL stars the sexy Jocelin Donahue as cash-strapped college student Samantha Hughes, who takes a babysitting job in a remote mansion with her good friend Megan (Greta Gerwig, BAGHEAD). She’s desperate for money and the pay is good, but something feels wrong, and Samantha quickly realizes that the girls are trapped. As a lunar eclipse darkens the night sky, Samantha finds that her employers—cult favorites Tom Noonan (MANHUNTER) and Mary Woronov (ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL)—don’t have a baby at all, and have something truly terrifying in store for them.
