paranormal activity 2

If you saw one supernatural horror film this past weekend there is a solid chance it was "Paranormal Activity 2". The film had the highest-grossing opening weekend ever for the sub-genre with a chicken foot shattering $41.5 million. I know five naughty little podcasters who saw it and will be recording a show for it this week. See how that tied in? Wasn't that nice?

In honor of "The Walking Dead" finally hitting AMC this coming weekend the good people behind the series have released some new behind the scenes photos. The show looks awesome and I have nothing bad or sarcastic to say, which is strange and confusing to me. Thanks AMC, you made me hit puberty again.

For those of you waiting with baited breath for "Host 2" to be released you can now officially wet yourself because the sequel is going to be released in 3D! But now that you're all excited I should also mention that the 3D conversion will delay the film's release as well as change the overall logistics. Waaah!

Steven Spielberg has confirmed that he will be bringing "Robopocalypse" to the big screen in 2013. The film is based on a book by Daniel H. Wilson and focuses on the fate of humans after the robot uprising. Hopefully there will also be robot cops because I keep reading the title as "RoboCopOcalypse".

Here's a new one! The gang promoting "Paranormal Activity 2" have set up a phone number that you can call and listen to some spooky fun. Which is awesome because normally I have to pay $2.99 a minute to have a women fake being frightened for her life. Don't judge.

If you love "Glee", and who doesn't, then there's a solid chance you love "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Well I have good news for you, kid who is overweight but still wears shirts two sizes to small! Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Glee" has just wrapped an entire episode devoted to the camp classic and is in talks to possibly do a remake. Good, I haven't been assaulted by a tranny coming out of a late night movie in years.

Adrien Brody has taken legal action to try an stop the release of the Dario Argento film "Giallo". Apparently Brody had never watched any of Argento's other films and when he picked up the script said out loud, "No way could this be a pile of crap, people love this guy. Sign me up!". You made your bed big nose, now lie in it with the weird Italian model who can barley speak English but for some reason plays the staring role.

I had always thought "Drive Angry" was a documentary about my road trip to Canada three years ago but based on the new trailer it's got nothing to do with that. The 3D flick stars Nicolas Cage as a badass who's broken out of hell to settle a few scores. I hope his face bursts into flames, I love when it does that.

I've officially had enough of Betty White. Alright I think I had had enough a few months back but this crap is getting out of hand. Betty is now confirmed to have landed a role in the upcoming "Men in Black 3" film. In contracts though Nicole Scherzinger, one of the strippers in The Pussycat Dolls, has also landed a role. Seeing pictures of the two next to each other makes my head hurt.

If you're pissed about paying to see movies in 3D get ready for your head to explode. Apparently "Paranormal Activity 2" will be released in selected iMax theaters for your viewing pleasure. Because when you're watching a movie shot completely on a home video camera you're going to want to see that on a giant screen and make sure it's crystal clear. That's just logic.

There's been almost no coverage of the upcoming Renée Zellweger flick "Case 39" but today we've got some new images and a new clip. All I know about this movie is there's a creepy as girl who sees ghosts and Zellwegger has man hands. I've got high hopes!

Here's some new clips of "Paranormal Activity 2" and it looks like the demons have finally learned how to mess with the video cameras. Maybe they're really elderly demons and don't understand technology. The people who live in the house should ask them to program the DVR and then escape while they try to figure it out.

I love things that are not safe for work, there I said it. Like the new clip from "Hatchet 2" which pretty much has everything a not safe for work clip should have. You're welcome.

There's been more images released for the upcoming show "The Walking Dead" than I know what to do with but today there's a new trailer. A trailer AND a crap load of new images. It just wouldn't feel right without them.

Poor Tony Todd, he's been needing work lately what with all his TV appearances and movies and such. Thankfully, he's going to be adding another film to his resume when he returns to the "Final Destination" franchise for the fifth installment.

Paramount has decided they need some original horror projects in their stable as they prepare the new property "School of Horrors". With the writer/director team of George Kay and Jim Field Smith already tapped, the movie is described as "Home Alone" in Hogwarts with it's plot of a young boy left in a haunted school by his parents.

Namco's busy preparing for the release of the old school re-do "Splatterhouse" and this trailer and game play clip promises that the game is going to be a bloody good time.

There's a new still from "Paranormal Activity 2" floating around out there that gives us a taste of... not much.

I woke up this morning thinking, "I sure would love to see a movie about a bunch of Nazi's in a giant take fighting a giant demon". Good thing there's movie in the works called "Panzer 88" about nazi unit in a King Tiger (Read: Big Ass Tank) running into a demonic force on the frozen Russian border!
