Milla Jovovich fans, get your towels ready. The first batch of photos from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" have finally arrived! Is it sad and grossly pathetic that I own all three movies on DVD? Probably.

There's something vaguely disturbing about the new one-sheet for Tom Six's twisted human drama "The Human Centipede (First Sequence)". As soon as this thing hits DVD, I'll be the first in line to pick it up. Does this make me a sick, demented bastard? I certainly hope so.

If you're as crazy about this current wave of extreme Japanese gore flicks as I am, chances are you'll love this snazzy collection of photos from Iguchi and Nishimura’s upcoming action/gore epic "The Mutant Girls Squad". These chicks can kick my ass any day of the week.

Horror Headlines: Wednesday December 9th, 2009

In worrisome news, the upcoming "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake is heading back under the lens for re-shoots after recent test screenings. So far it looks like it will only affect a small diner scene that doesn't involve Freddy, but re-shoots are never a good sign.

The fourth installment for the "Resident Evil" franchise, "Resident Evil: Afterlife" has been pushed back to January 2011. If you're curious for behind the scenes action on this 3D sequel, be sure to follow Milla Jovovich on Twitter as she tweets her way through the shooting of the film.

Good news for you "Dexter" fans; thanks in large part to John Lithgow, the fourth season of the show continues to set records for Showtime. This past Sunday's episode pulled in over 2.1 million viewers. You can pretty much count on our favorite little sociopath coming back next season.

From the laugh out loud news desk, Brittany Murphy has been fired from the upcoming thriller "The Caller", mere days into shooting. She's now officially been replaced by "Twilight" vixen Rachelle LeFevre.

We can finally put to rest one worry about the upcoming "Wolfman", asthe MPAA has officially given the movie an R rating for bloody horror, violence and gore!

Little birdies are telling me that the trailer for "The Wolfman" will be hitting the internet today. However since I get up at the crack of dawn like an old man, it's not up yet. Check back for updates???

ABC is at the top of the heap when it comes to picking up "Clive Barker's Hotel", the series being written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. It also turns out that McG's production company is in talks to produce, with the possibility that old G might take a hand at directing down the line.

A movie that doesn't exist yet, "Resident Evil: Afterlife", has a release date set for August 27th, 2010. That's a little more than a year away.

Say what you will about the people behind "Saw", they they sure know how to make awesome posters.
