In worrisome news, the upcoming "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake is heading back under the lens for re-shoots after recent test screenings. So far it looks like it will only affect a small diner scene that doesn't involve Freddy, but re-shoots are never a good sign.

Good news for you "Dexter" fans; thanks in large part to John Lithgow, the fourth season of the show continues to set records for Showtime. This past Sunday's episode pulled in over 2.1 million viewers. You can pretty much count on our favorite little sociopath coming back next season.

We can finally put to rest one worry about the upcoming "Wolfman", asthe MPAA has officially given the movie an R rating for bloody horror, violence and gore!

This clip from "Zombieland" has a zombie clown in it... so that's pretty awesome.

Rumor has it that the "Nightmare on Elm St." trailer will be coming soon, with the possibility that it will be seen infront of prints of Columbia's "Zombieland" on October 2nd. Expect the internet version to show up just about that time.

Here's 5 clips from "Dexter" season 4, which I won't watch because I'm still making my way through season 3, which by the way has been just as kick ass as the first two so far. Highly recommended.

Today sees the announcement of "Never Sleep Again: The Elm St. Legacy", a retrospective documentary on the Nightmare series. It comes co-directed from the man who brought us "His Name Was Jason", but promises to be more in-depth and informational, which sounds good to me. I enjoyed "His Name...", but couldn't get over the fact that it felt like giving Jason Voorhees a blowjob for 90 minutes. A little more substance this time around would be a great thing.

Let me just state this on the record right now... "Ring 3D" sounds like possibly the worst idea I've ever heard. Know this.
