"Zombie Allegiance" trailer. ZA is a low budget zombie film from Writer/Director Tony Nunes. I'm usually not a big fan of these, but comical George Bush masks get me every time.

Steve Niles is currently writing a sequel to "30 Days of Night"... the movie. The character of Stella would be the focal point, meaning they will hopefully get Melissa George's fine self back for the role.

Freaky pictures from David Goyer's "Unborn" (LINK FIXED). The film concerns a woman dealing with a spirit that is slowly taking posession of her soul.

Check the trailer for "The Broken", from this year's After Dark Horror Fest.

Poster for Joe Dante's "The Hole", in 3D. The film concerns a family who finds a bottomless hole in their basement, that I'm guessing leads to all kinds of spooky stuff.

A sequel to the Spanish film [REC] will start shooting in November. The original directors Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza are returning, and will be shooting under the Filmax banner, the company which was responsible for the first film.

In Real People News:

This economy is so bad, even prostitutes are feeling the pinch. Of course, I'm sure the fact that she's 58 has nothing to do with it. No, that can't possibly be it.

Have you found out your wife wasn't a virgin when you married her? No worries, it's nothing a little murder/suicide can't clear up.

Pheasant kills biker... that is all.

On this day in history:

1989: Kitty Dukakis, wife of Presidential candidate and Massachusetts governor Michael Dukakis, is hospitalized for drinking rubbing alcohol. According to Hunter S. Thompson, "She was a really good advertisement for speed for twenty-six years."
