Live Action "Turok" film?!? Let the speculation begin as to whether this could possibly live up to all the hype that the games never seem to.

Trent Reznor plans on developing a TV show based on his politically charged album "Year Zero", according to a very short article in today's New York Times. Having never heard the album, I can't really speak on whether or not this is a good idea.

First pic from the Alex Proya directed, Nicholas Cage starring film "Knowing". The film is about a time capsule found containing predictions for the future as well as things that have already came true, that leads a man to believe his family will have a hand in horrible things about to happen to humanity. It's really hard to take Cage seriously at this point (no, not bees!!!!), but I'm somehow kind of interested in this anyways.

Here's the first trailer for Alexandre Aja's "Mirrors", starring Kiefer Sutherland. Maybe the mirror can explain to Sutherland why the last season of "24" sucked so bad. If not, the movie still looks cool.

In Real People News:

Man declared dead, wakes up just as surgeons are preparing to remove his organs. Surgeons noticed when he started breathing and "showing signs that he was feeling pain". Jesus christ that's terrifying.

Man gets nailgunned in his head, goes to the hospital, and the surgeon removes it with a hammer. He probably charged him about a grand to do it too... what a world we live in folks.

Residents of the Aegean Island of "Lesbos" have proposed a law that would ban Homosexual women from calling themselves "Lesbians", since that's what people who inhabit the island call themselves. If only they would think of the amazing tourism potential. Hell, I had already booked my flight halfway through the article before I found out what it was really about.

On this day in history:

1994: Nicole Brown Simpson and her male friend Ronald Goldman are savagely murdered in front of Simpson's condominium complex in Brentwood, California. The most plausible suspect turns out to be Nicole's estranged husband O.J., who is arrested for the crime a month later.
