9 Insane Asylum Movies

With Martin Scorcese's hit "Shutter Island" invading theaters this past weekend, it is only natural that the creepy insane asylum setting is fresh on our minds. It's an oft visited setting for many a horror film, especially when it comes to sequels! With the idea of damaged minds populating the halls of such institutions for years, many of them violent, it's only natural that film makers took to the setting like moths to a flame.

So here we go folks, 9 other insane asylum films to put you in the ward!

8 Other Shape Shifters

Werewolves are all the rage these days with the release of Universal's "The Wolfman", but why should the dog boys of mid February get all the fun? 10 Voice Acting Moonlighters

If there's one that I love almost as much as horror, it's cartoons! Sure, I could write off my love of the animated art form as a by-product of having a kid, but I like you readers. I really don't want to lie to you. I just love them. Blame Bugs Bunny!

A whole bunch of questionable to mid-range theatrical releases in this weeks' lineup... yay?

Most of us on the Bloody Good Horror Podcast were generally pleased with Ben Foster and Pandorum. Dennis Quaid gets to be a little much towards the end of the film, but other than that this is worth at least a rental.

10 Horror Comics

There's more to horror than just movies. Another ever-growing segment of genre offerings is the world of comics. Mix some top notch story telling with spectacular artwork and you have yourself a good old fashioned scary tale.

Horror comics have been around for decades, so they are nothing new. Some are extremely well known and have already been optioned for some type of adaptation, such as "30 Days of Night" or the announced AMC series "The Walking Dead". Here today, I'll share with you 10 other horror comics that are out now and well worth your time!
