Trailers

When I was in college if one of my professors grabbed me after class and asked me to take part in some special experience in his basement I wouldn't have exactly been excited, but that's just me.

I've never really understood what "presented by" means in a movie but this Italian zombie flick is "Presented by Uwe Boll". Which kind of got me excited because the film doesn't look half bad and everything is in Italian so you can't tell if the acting is awful or not. Pluses all around.

Been a while since I’ve seen a good old fashioned creepy split faced ghost women. Scratch that I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before but thanks to the trailer for “The Reeds” I can now die a happy man. Thanks guys.

Somebody want to tell me what the hell is going on in the teaser for “Nightscape”? There’s a girl with some pod people and then a women bleeding from the head. Oh and I think they threw in a balloon for good measure. I’m pretty sure this is all symbolic of something but I have no clue what.

While I love a good High School revenge film the makers of "The Final" made one gigantic mistake. When you have a movie set in a high school with a bunch of bitchy girls you never actually cast real teenage girls.

The new Hughes brothers film "The Book Of Eli" hits theaters today for your viewing pleasure and my hopes are high. While the duo are probably best known for their mid-90s film "Menace II Society" they've also dabbled in the horror genre with the 2001 Jack the Ripper tale "From Hell". And that starred a dreamy Johnny Depp so you can't really complain there.

Nothing wrong with a good old fashion girls in skimpy tops running around a creepy old gas station being chased by a bunch of nut bags. It's a story as old as time and one that looks to play out very nicely in the new with "The Graves" by Brian Pulido. The flick stars a mix of newbie's as well as some seasoned vets like Bill Moseley and Tony Todd.

If you got to the movie theater 40 minutes early for "Daybreakers" this past weekend you probably caught a clip of the new Starz series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand". You may have also noticed one Mr. Sam Raimi's named tossed in the long list of producer credits in the preview for the show.

While I have no way of actually proving it I'm 99% sure that Jennifer Tilly is a robot. I've had a boyhood crush on her for most of my life now and she's looked almost exactly the same the entire time. Case in point is the trailer for her new film "The Caretaker".

I'd try to explain what the French film "Amer" is about but every synopsis I've read is almost a shot for shot description of the trailer. What I've been able to figure out though is there's a girl named Ana who keeps seeing all this f'ed up crap and can't figure out if it's real or her imagination. I could be completely wrong here though. In any case the shots look pretty cool so give it a go.
