Steven Spielberg

Danny Boyle is supposedly being courted to direct a new werewolf flick set int LA called "Sharp Teeth". I assume this is because werewolves have teeth that are sharp and they will present them in a menacing fashion in the movie. That's the best I got folks, the Superbowl was last night, it's a slow day.

The producers who brought you "Twilight" have already picked up a new book trilogy called "Legend". The series will follow a young bugger called Day and his happenings as the country's most wanted criminal. It will also be a series of really awful films. Get excited.

All the world is giddy over the trailer for Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams's "Super 8" that showed last night at the Super Bowl despite that fact that I have no idea what the hell is going on in it. I think there might be aliens who hate trains or cameras or I have no freakin clue. I can't wait for this one.

A new poster and synopsis for Paul Schrader's "The Jesuit" is now online and I have to admit I was way more excited about this one when I thought this was made by the guy who leads David Letterman's band. It does however feature Willem Dafoe, Paz Vega, Michelle Rodriguez and child kidnapping. So that's something to get excited about.

If you saw one supernatural horror film this past weekend there is a solid chance it was "Paranormal Activity 2". The film had the highest-grossing opening weekend ever for the sub-genre with a chicken foot shattering $41.5 million. I know five naughty little podcasters who saw it and will be recording a show for it this week. See how that tied in? Wasn't that nice?

In honor of "The Walking Dead" finally hitting AMC this coming weekend the good people behind the series have released some new behind the scenes photos. The show looks awesome and I have nothing bad or sarcastic to say, which is strange and confusing to me. Thanks AMC, you made me hit puberty again.

For those of you waiting with baited breath for "Host 2" to be released you can now officially wet yourself because the sequel is going to be released in 3D! But now that you're all excited I should also mention that the 3D conversion will delay the film's release as well as change the overall logistics. Waaah!

Steven Spielberg has confirmed that he will be bringing "Robopocalypse" to the big screen in 2013. The film is based on a book by Daniel H. Wilson and focuses on the fate of humans after the robot uprising. Hopefully there will also be robot cops because I keep reading the title as "RoboCopOcalypse".

"Piranha 3D" didn't break any box office records this past weekend but a sequel has already been announced. Not a big surprise I guess but I am looking forward to seeing how they bring back Kelly Brook. What I mean is please bring back Kelly Brook... please!

If this memo is to be believed than it looks like we'll be seeing the teaser for "Scream 4" in theaters sometime this November. If it's fake a bunch of people will talk about how stupid all of us were for thinking it was real. One thing is for sure though, I have absolutely no desire to see "Scream 4"

Steven Spielberg along with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are planning on bringing Joe Hill's "Locke & Key" to the small screen in the near future. The comic book revolves around a couple of kids who watch over a old mansion filled with spooky doors that send them to different worlds and give them super powers. With so many people with classy sounding names attached to this there's no way it can't win.

Good news everyone! "Saw II" the video game will be available for your PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 19th. Alright I really have no idea if that is good news but it can't be any worse then "Saw 3D" coming out shortly after.
