Posters: "Devil's Carnival", plus the opposite of a teaser trailer

Here's some artwork for "Devil's Carnival", a film that just announced it has a member of Slipknot in it. Which one? I'm guessing someone with a mask whose parents didn't hug him when he was a kid. Just a stab in the dark.

Bonus, an ELEVEN MINUTE TEASER TRAILER. To hell with the definition of "Teaser"... half the movie, unedited. World' best PR campaign.

Posters: There's something unsettling here...

You ever notice that Annalynne McCord looks exactly like the female Gremlin from "Gremlins 2"? Oh, you don't know who AnnaLynne McCord is? Ya, um... neither do I. Anyway, here's a one-sheet for "Bad Girl". It hits VOD and DVD on January 24th, and there is 0.00 percent chance I will watch it. Still though, nice to see Antonio Sabato Jr. getting work... Final Poster for Jennifer's Body

I'm not going to lie, I thought the trailer for "Jennifer's Body" looked terrible... but count me among the many out there who will pretty much watch anything that Megan Fox is in, so needless to say I love this poster. Release date, September 12th, 2009.

Beer, Horror Screenings, and Beautiful Posters

We get requests to promo stuff pretty often, which are usually met with a healthy dose of snarky indifference. However, we are occasionally surprised with something really cool, and we got a tip from the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas about some awesome posters for upcoming film screenings (above and left). The "Night of the Creeps" screening will also apparently be included in the DVD extras for the upcoming release of that film, so if you're in the area, be sure to check that out.

New "H2" Poster

So here we've got the new poster for Rob Zombies' “H2”. Or is it “Halloween 2” now? I’m so confused.

And it isn’t just the title that is throwing me off at this point. Based on the preview we saw a couple weeks back I’m making the assumption that that is Michael’s mother in the background, played by site favorite Sheri Moon Zombie. And based on her stance if I was going to make a guess as to what’s going on here, I’d say little Mike is late for dinner and Deborah is pissed.

Video Game Movie Poster Mashups are a Nerd's Dream

Everyone these days knows how to use the Internet, but the nerds of the world REALLY know how to use it, especially when called upon to display their nerd cred and Photoshop skills. Living deep within the forums of the movie site Empire is a group of individuals dedicated to the art of the "shopped" poster mashup. The one that I found particularly interesting was the Video Game poster mashup, because the worlds lend themselves to each other so well, and I'm a fanboy for both.

Early "Sorority Row" Art Bests Floating Heads

This early poster for "Sorority Row" came out today, and even though it's not the official one-sheet I wanted to just take a moment here to applaud the artist. All those years of hokey floating head art, and someone finally had the bearings to stand up and say, "why don't we just leave their hot bodies, and have them lay on each other?" You sir, are my personal hero.

The rep for Summit says this was just an "early" piece of art, so we may see some lame floating head poster yet. Rest assured I'll be the first one to call shenanigans if that happens. Full poster at the source.
