I've seen this movie probably 50 times, the old "rednecks hunt innocent city folk in the woods" thing, but never from a German production company.
I read an interesting article once about the German people's obsession with crap. Like, poop-crap. Apparently their cultural lore and sayings are riddled with references to poop, both in positive and negative ways. Not sure what that says but ya, 99% sure there's going to be some poop in this movie. So there's that.
