Oh boy folks, here it is, our first look at Jackie Earl Haley as Freddy Krueger!

Debuting at 3am for some odd reason, this trailer is the talk of the internet this morning. While it doesn't give away the whole story, it does give us some good looks at the new man in action.

I unfortunately do not have the trailer for "A Nightmare on Elm St." just yet, but there are whispers that a teaser trailer will front "Zombieland" on October 2nd, a movie that most genre fans won't have to go out of their way to see. I'm just glad it's not attached to a "Saw" film.

The Elm Street trailer will debut online around the same time. Producer Brad Fuller tweeted yesterday that:

Sometimes teasers/trailers can be found on the internet before they end up in theaters.

The trinity is complete. Now that Michael and Jason have been given another go in the remake realm, it's Freddy's turn and here to taunt and titillate is a teaser for a Nightmare on Elm Street documentary "Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy."

Daniel Farrands, director of the Friday the 13th documentary "His Name was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th" returns to bring us "Never Sleep Again:The Elm Street Legacy" which promises to be a thorough look at Freddy's history.

Well here it is, our first *sort of* look at Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger. It's hard to see much but I can tell you that his tiny pea-head creeps me out by itself. Rumor has it we'll see a better shot later in the day as the first official day of comic-con swings into full gear. Stay tuned...

For over 25 years now all the world has loved Freddy Krueger. Sure he’s a severely burned murderer who kills you in your dreams, but those one liners really make him a lovable character. With the new “Nightmare On Elm Street” remake coming to theaters early next year there is no doubt that a whole new crop of fans will be popping up.

By now you've no doubt read the news, that Jackie Earle Haley, former child star and current resurging actor, will be the new Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes "A Nightmare on Elm St".
