In a shocking twist the much anticipated sequel to "Piranha 3D" will be shot in... you guess it, 3D. I can't say I'm mad about this and the fact that they're calling it "Piranha 3DD", teehee, makes me giddy as all get out. I think that's a saying.

Alan Spencer, the guy who created "Alan Spencer" (look it up it's awesome) is working on a new show for IFC that follows a serial killer who's trying to juggle both his after hours activities and his social life. Didn't Bill Cosby do a bit on this? A man in Pennsylvania was picked up for lighting a joint in the delivery room while his wife was giving birth. Wrong sure but I can imagine that's a pretty stressful event. Cut the guy some slack.
A woman in Florida is facing charges after trying to sell her baby in order to buy a car. Now before we go calling her a monster let's ask ourselves, what kind of car was it? A used Dodge Neon? Awful. A NEW Dodge Neon? Understandable. Wait they don't make Neon's anymore? Burn the witch!

A new clip from "Dexter" Season 5 has found it's way online and I couldn't be more giddy about it. The news season premiers on September 26th and I've already got my special order of 50 wings in for that night. That really has nothing to do with the show I just really like wings... a lot.
1862 - Union forces hurled back a Confederate invasion of Maryland in the Civil War battle of Antietam. With 23,100 killed, wounded or captured, it remains the bloodiest day in U.S. military history.

Hoping to see Doug Bradley reprise his Pinhead role in the upcoming 9th sequel, "Hellraiser: Revelations"? I hate to burst your bubble but according to Doug himself, he doesn't plan on returning.

A trailer for the new season of the VH1 show "Scream Queens" is online and to be honest is a little disappointing. The contestants will once again compete for a role in the next "Saw" film but no James Gunn this season and from what I can tell no ridiculously over sized fakes breasts. Really I could have let the James Gunn thing go but I'm not sure if I can get past the other.
Corey Feldman seems to have hated "Lost Boys 2: The Tribe" as much as the rest of us. In a recent interview, the actor discusses why he thinks "Lost Boys 3: The Thirst" will actually be good. While my expectations still run rock bottom, his promises of seeing the Frog Brothers actually together at least sound fun.
