Cosplay: Zombie Leia? Sure, why not

I'm guessing this kind of ruins the whole gold bikini thing...

Indie Trailers: "Do You Like My Basement"?, yikes...

"Do You Like My Basement" is officially one of the creepiest movie titles I've ever heard. Not sure what to make of the trailer, but the title goes right up there next to "Dead Hooker in a Trunk" as one I will not be relaying to the "normies" in my life...

Videos: Stephen King reads from "Shining" sequel...

I just added this to my list of "things I didn't know existed". Also, my "sounds cool but I will never read that" list. What I'm trying to say is I keep a lot of lists. It's a disease.

Trailers: "Lights Over Phoenix", cool, not real...

The "Phoenix Lights" are an actual phenomena witnessed in 1997 by hundreds of people. It's a cool story, that you should definitely Google... when you have a few hours of your life you want to disappear.

Trailers: "The Raven" confounds

I love me some John Cusack as much as the next guy but ya, this looks terrible. Thankfully it still says "COMING SOON", so we won't have to sit through it for a good long while.

Trailers: "LIQUID RED', prepare your mind to be 'effed

This looks psychotic. Sign me up.

"LIQUID RED" was recently completed and will be released later this year.

Shorts: "Project: S.E.R.A.", zombie goodness

It's not often that a video on the internet can get me not only to watch for 10 minutes, but to actually stop all the other distractions I'm engaging in and give it my full intention. This zombified horror short did just that. It doesn't hurt that it stars Julia Voth (Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil video games, Bitch Slap), who is, you might say, not hard on the eyes.

Posters: "[REC]3: Genesis"

I never saw "[REC]2" so I have no idea where this series has gone. Is there going to be a wedding? Do I have to bring a present? Because I don't really have time to pick one up. Is cash ok? Anyway, ya, they're still making these. This one hits Spanish theaters at the end of March.

Trailers: "Snowtown Murders" looks great, mate...

This film was made in Australia, so I put "mate" in the title, get it? I'm told you can't be a major horror site unless you write unbearably awful titles for your posts, so there you go. Coming up tomorrow I predict a young actor will "sink their teeth" into a role in a new vampire film. You just watch.

Anyway, this true-crime film was based on a real incident down under. It gets a small release via IFC films March 2nd, so keep an eye out. Looks creepy.

Snapshots: "Cabin in the Woods", still no idea

As much as I'd like this to be terrible so I can go on an epic "Joss Whedon sucks" rant on the podcast, the trailer was so bonkers I'm holding out hope it might be good (as long as there aren't any superhuman anorexic chicks). And yes, I know he's only produced it, but if you think that will stop me from ranting about him you obviously haven't been here very long. Hi, I'm Eric, nice to meet you.
