New MTV Web Series "Savage County"

MTV can do no wrong in my eyes. Alright they can do a bunch of wrong but their new online web series "Savage County" actually looks pretty good. And I'm not just saying that because I'm trying to get on next seasons "Real World". Although I would be awesome for the house.

The 10 part series revolves around a group of kids who "accidentally" kill a hillbilly and are then attacked by his kin. Guess where it takes place? Texas! Ok so maybe you've seen this movie before but it still looks to be promising. Take a look at the trailer below and see for yourself. The first episode is set to hit the web this January.

Hey, Joe - Thanks for writing about Savage County - this is David Harris, the director (just got a google alert about your post). Well, obviously January isn't happening - probably not February either (releasing things online is bizarrely harder than you'd think) - but the show's looking good and I'll send you an update when we've got a release date I can stand behind.
