Beer, Horror Screenings, and Beautiful Posters

We get requests to promo stuff pretty often, which are usually met with a healthy dose of snarky indifference. However, we are occasionally surprised with something really cool, and we got a tip from the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin Texas about some awesome posters for upcoming film screenings (above and left). The "Night of the Creeps" screening will also apparently be included in the DVD extras for the upcoming release of that film, so if you're in the area, be sure to check that out.

If you don't live in the area but still want to adorn your castle walls with these fine prints, you can also order the posters online:
Order "Night of the Creeps" Poster | Order "Rocky Horror Picture Show" Poster.

The Alamo Drafthouse sounds right up my alley, with fine films and fine beers. The Palace Theater near me occasionally does a "Brew and View," where they'll show films and serve beer as well. As an equal part horror and beer nerd, I can't think of anything more blissful. Do you have an area theater that shows genre film and allows you to imbibe? This is probably one of the greatest paces I've ever been. I read about these great screenings they do all the time and their tap list is always top notch. I'd love to make it down there one day for anything they show.

i want to go there.

They're gonna be the bees knees in my all new mancave!

I love the Drafthouse!! Their milkshakes are the bomb diggity.

I never got to go, but they have Terror Tuesdays where they play rare and not so rare horror movies from the 60's - 80's for only $1. I think it used to be free, but still I'd go every week if I lived closer.
