Horror at Cannes: "The Silent House (La Casa Muda)"

"The Silent House" takes the found footage, cinema verite style of filmmaking popularized by "Paranormal Activity" and "[REC]" to its logical extreme by making a feature length haunted house movie that (allegedly at least) consists entirely of one long continuous take. And if that's not enough, it was also filmed not with a regular video camera but by using the video function on a still camera. And its from Uraguay. If it lives up to its tag line of "Real Terror in Real Time" this could be a fun little spook house ride of a movie. You can start your countdown for an American remake right. about.... now.
